Actual Fall

Welcome to the Spring of Deception in the 11 seasons in Minnesota! It’s a great time to come visit us at the shop to caress and purchase some safe, socially distanced fabric so that you have a fun project for our upcoming Third Winter AKA March!

Announcing: Additional open hours and new fabrics

In addition to shop hours on:

Mondays and Thursdays from 10 – 5
Saturday from 9 – 2

...beginning on Thursday, March 11, the shop will stay open until 8:00, and will be open on Fridays from 10 - 5, beginning on March 12.

We have new fabrics in the shop: Floragraphix V (pictured) and 34 new Tula Pink solids are now on the shelves. You can view them on our FaceBook or Instagram pages, (click the icons below) or just go to our website. The pictures don’t do justice to these vibrant fabrics, so make a plan to stop in the shop soon.

We are still well stocked in Kaffe Fassett, Chalk and Charcoal and, of course, batiks.

Thanks to co-op member Mary Ann Golob for making the sample quilt, Chains of Love, which was featured as our February kit. The Chains of Love kit is the perfect gift for an anniversary or baby celebration and is still available for purchase. When you stop at the shop, you'll see it beautifully displayed inside.

Also when you are at the shop, pick up one of our snazzy new business cards, (complete with a QR code!) to share with someone you know who needs to learn about Quilt Shop Co-op. (Thanks to Maggie and Anna for donating these cards.)

The shop now officially accepts cash and checks for purchases, beginning on Monday, March 1. So please: raid your piggy bank and head over sometime in the coming week!

The Quilt Shop Co-op Board of Directors welcomes Mary Ann Golob who joined the board on February 24. Mary Ann is member number 11, which means she joined the Co-op at its very beginning. She lives in the Corcoran neighborhood of South Minneapolis, is a long-time and skilled quilter and "long-armer", and is a volunteer-worker in the shop. Mary Ann has been on the Marketing Committee for some time and would like to revive the Co-op's Education Committee.

Block of the Month is still coming! Watch for details on Facebook, Instagram or our web site.
