Furoshiki: Gift Wrapping with Fabric

Join Laurie for hot cider and cookies and learn the Japanese way of wrapping gifts with fabric, called Furoshiki. Bring a friend or make some new ones.
This eco-friendly solution to gift wrapping is a Japanese tradition; cloth wrapping can be used over and over. Learn 4 Furoshiki wrapping styles. Each participant will take home 3 cotton wrapping cloths, a Small, Medium, and Large in Holiday- themed or neutral fabrics.
Materials: Scissors, rotary cutter, 3 rubber bands or hair binders, ribbons and decorative items for your packages, a book and a few smallish boxes for wrapping practice.
